RMI’s Media Processor Solutions include the Au1200 Processor Family and the Au1550 Processor Family to meet the needs of consumer and communications applications by offering a high-performance, low-power processor capable of delivering a rich multi-media experience to end users under a half watt (450mW). The Au1200 Processor Family consists of the Au1200, the Au1210 and the Au1250, media processors targeted for full-featured Portable Media Players (PMP), Personal Navigation Devices (PND) and MobileTV. The Au1550 Processor offers network processing capabilities with a versatile high-performance, low-power, highly integrated network System-on-a-Chip (SoC) designed for wired and wireless applications The Alchemy product families give system designers an easy-to-use, simple solution to create full-featured consumer and communications solutions with greatly reduced design cycle times.

RMI’s Communication Processor Solutions are multi-core multi-threaded processors providing a rich set of features and performance to address the wide variety of integrated next generation applications, including integrated security, Web services, virtualized storage, load balancing, server offload and intelligent routing and switching systems. The XLR700 and XLR500 series processors are software and hardware compatible and each processor is available in a variety of power options including standard, low and ultra low power. The XLS Processor™ family consists of cost-effective devices for embedded communication and networking, SMB and client oriented solutions. These solutions include integrated security, access points, routers and switch products. Each device within its series is software and hardware compatible, and the XLS 600, 400, and 200 series processors are software compatible.
