Introductory Statement

RMI Corporation (“RMI”) is committed to respecting and protecting your privacy.  We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy to ensure you understand RMI's privacy practices.  This policy does not apply to any third party Web sites or to companies or persons not controlled by, affiliated with or managed by RMI and applies only to information collected by RMI on RMI Web sites and not to information disclosed, obtained or used by RMI through other means.  This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Use.

Information We May Collect

In general, you can visit RMI on the Internet without identifying yourself and without revealing any personal information.  RMI and its analytic vendors do collect information regarding visitors to our Web site, such as domain name and/or IP address, browsing behavior and other non-personally identifiable information, through the use of cookies or other browser tools.  We analyze this data for trends and statistics to help us provide you with better products and service. 

In addition, you may choose to provide RMI with personal information, such as your name, address, email address and personal password, that may be required in exchange for access to certain RMI Web pages and product information, or to enable us to correspond with you regarding RMI's products and services.  Such personal information may be used by RMI to log software licenses granted, to track software or documents downloaded from those Web pages, to track usage of other applications available on our Web site, and to evaluate and respond to user inquiries and provide customer and user support.

RMI is committed to maintaining the security of your information.  To that end, we have put in place reasonable and appropriate electronic and administrative procedures and practices to secure the information we collect online and to protect personal information from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification and disclosure.  Although such protective measures have been put in place, RMI cannot ensure that the information collected will never be disclosed in a manner inconsistent with the Privacy Policy.  In accordance with the requirements of California and other applicable laws, RMI will notify any Web site user whose personal information is affected by a breach of the security of the system and we will take all reasonable steps to destroy personal information no longer needed by the business.
